I salute the
lineage of teachers, beginning with the ever auspicious
Lord Shiva (linked by) Sankaracharya in the middle and
extending upto my own teacher.

Sankari Krishnan humbly offers all the credit she receives at the feet of her Guru and mentors.
Sankari was extremely fortunate and privileged to learn from the great maestro of all times, Padmabhushan
Lalgudi Shri G. Jayaraman. This admirable Guru was the epitome of music who has mesmerized generations with
his divine music. His invaluable guidance has enabled Sankari dwell deeper into the intricacies of music and feel
spiritual bliss.
Shri. K.S. Subramanian of Trichy was an excellent teacher who had nurtured Sankari's flair for music in her
formative years. His encouragement has been instrumental for Sankari to become a passionate musician.
Dr. Karaikudi S. Subramanian, Director of Brhaddhvani, The Research and Training Centre for the Musics of the
World, was formerly a Professor in Music at the University of Madras. He is a distinguished Veena maestro as
well as an eminent teacher. He has evolved a holistic Teaching Methodology namely, “Correlated Objective
Music Education Training”. Sankari has been fortunate to learn this unique methodology from this outstanding
teacher.
